Surrounded by various readings for tomorrow. Dinner was tasty (ish) chicken curry, spicy (horray) enough to make my stomach twitchy again (boo).
So today was a nice sleep in (b/c no classes) and then I went to Russell Square, read the reading I was supposed to finish for yesterday (whoops, oh well it's not like it matters...as in at Midd for class if you haven't read you look like a fool). Here I do look like a fool if I don't read, except for this one class on Wed, hence me not finishing. Anyway then I went down to LSE, spent about an hour in the library printing and looking for readings...joys. Back to dorm, read, dinner...and am now upstairs...with...
1) Reading summaries for Arab-Israeli class (31 pages in microsoft word)
2) 1 article for Arab-Israeli class...10 pages
3) three articles for sociology....appox 50 pages....
Those above are due tomorrow
For catching up we've got....
1) Four government reading aids...no wait that's only three because I did one yesterday (whew). I hate these things passionately
2) About sixty govt.pages
3) Thirty quiz questions that I've got to start answering because they'll help me review and look well not like a fool in class
4) I know I'm forgetting something
Future getting ahead....
1) reading aid for gvt. due saturday (this would be the forth one I suppose)
2) start reading for my two papers due next friday and the following monday....history and government
3) start monday's govt. essential reading....
Haven't counted pages for some of these things...organizing up the printouts is going to take some time as well
I think this weekend is shaping up nicely though, lots of free time, probably a little exploring n' such.
I went to see the Kite Runner last night with a group of friends. Gosh what a heartbreaking well done movie. I have got to read that book ASAP. Anyway I was glad we were walking back in two groups at least, three and three, because boy Picadilly area is sketchy on a Friday. Jack Nicoalson was at the premier of his movie Bucket List but we missed him. On the agenda for the next few weeks: movie star stalking at premiers Thursday...fact...am excited about this.
Following Friday is Circa de soile or however you spell it (maybe) tickets around 25 bucks for semi ok seats...eh, that's fine.
Chinese New Year is February 7th, mom is coming around then too...and the term flies by. Anyway, I think the break has to officially be over. I am aware that I haven't yet posted day 2 of germany/lizzie's trip to London (sorry lizzie!). Those are coming, hopefully even this weekend....or at least parts of them. The pictures take forever.
Okay off I go...busy day tomorrow...tutor meeting at 10:30...class 11-12, break, class 1-2...then doing a push to get the work for monday out of the way before the weekend. Friday evening, maybe I'll be able to go out without thinking I should be in...fun shit.
